The TP52 Class Association was started in 2001 by owners who wanted to race a Grand Prix sailboat that is fun, safe and reliable. TP52's are flat out racing platforms, fully crewed, high performance monohulls capable of racing in both buoy regattas and offshore races. The 1270 kg weight limit provides for approximately 14 crew members with the flexibility to bring along a guest or a sponsor in the back of the boat and out of harms way. Our TP52, originally built in 2006 as John Merricks, designed by Jaudenys Theys and built by Richard Faulkner, after having a successful racing period in ORC by her Greek owner, now is available on the market for sale! Since 2014, under the guidance of the owner, who has in his trophy case a numerous rewards from Olympic Games, Worlds and Europeans championships, the boat has been kept up to modern standards in continual modification for ORC racing. In 2018, the boat has received a great optimization with a new keel shape and ballast configuration. At the moment, our TP52 is absolutely ready for racing in both windward leeward races and offshore regattas. Her inventory comes fully equipped with inshore, offshore and delivery sails, most of which are 3Di North Sails.
